Many Congratulations to you and your Husband,Kidsgran,on your Golden wedding Anniversary..so glad you had a lovely time..and lovely gifts too...I have been cutting back my Pyracantha today, but making sure I don't cut the berries off,for winter display.
Strangely enough,it said in our local paper yesterday,to prune them back now,so I did ! Well.I managed half of it,it's so big !..good luck :o0

Congrats from me too. Such lovely gifts you have received.
I do know the Pyracantha can be cut right back but there is a correct time to do it but I'm not sure when that is. Best to follow Bloomers advice. Good luck and watch out for those thorns....ouch!!!

Congratulations on your anniversary ! :o)
Your fuchsias are wonderful. I'd leave them for now, and cut back in spring, after they start sprouting.
