I love lavender and yours looks so pretty.
We too have had very heavy thundery rain in the past 24 hours and it flooded our porch - this has never happened in the 32 years that we have lived here!
Bring back the sunshine I say!

No thanks, I hope that's the last of the very hot weather for this year! When it rains I sit in my shed, enjoying the sound it makes on the roof. I can do some potting in there and it's a good place to do my planning as to what to do next when the rain passes.
Rain can be exciting, especially when it thunders too!:)

Lovely cool refreshing blog. Lovely lily in a beautiful frame. That is a clever feature to have available.

It's rained all day here too - very heavy showers with drizzle in between ... and it feels cold.
Now I don't mind rain, (in fact I enjoy it) but I hate feeling cold ... so hurry up with some warmth again I say.
Your lavender looks nice, and that little shelter is lovely :o)
You're clever to get that heart shape ! I wouldn't be able to do anything like that lol

Another hot spell here this summer Kidsgran and I will move north to the ......Shetland Islands!!

We've had lots of rain these past few days but the soil is only just damp - it must have been incredibly dry! Costas you may not enjoy the winter in the Shetlands - perhaps you should just go for the summer.

Thanks all for you nice comments it seems we have mixed weather in the uk at the moment and we all like different types of it and our garden's take whatever is thrown down at it and still survive so that should be an inspiration to us all :-))
