Who's been in my peonies??!!

Yesterday afternoon when I arrived home I notice a bud on one of my peonies that I planted last fall. It was pretty good size, I would have guessed around 2 cm diameter. This morning I’m getting in my car and I see this!!!

And of course the one with the bud is snapped right off!!!

The other peonies are doing well.

My Bleeding heart is blooming already! :))

Will be putting straw around my strawberries this weekend

couldn’t wait to plant something outside earlier this month so pansies went into my hanging basket (due to cold hardiness)

my clamatis is loaded again this year. :))

Stargazer lillies are up and going strong.

And second round of Cat Snacks are ready for the grandkitties.

happy gardening to you all.

Hi kmccue07, Too bad about your peony. Been there, done that. I always wonder what I'm going to find in the garden. Your Clematis is wonderful. Truly loaded with buds. Your color choice for the pansies is great.

Oh everything looks lovely! Shame about your peonies! It looks as if a cat sat on it! Whatever it was, it was naughty! Couldn't have been your cat, I assume your cat is indoors if you're growing grass for it?

Oh what a shame about the peony. Well I hope it has more buds for you soon. Your other plants are lovely. I'll have to try that cat grass for my Blodyn.

not my cats...My daughter's cats...thus grandkitties :)
This daughter doesn't plan on having children and her kitties deserve to be spoiled just like her nephews are spoiled by grandma. I personally have a cat in a dog suit (has been in trouble for getting on the table and sleeps on top of the back of the couch at times) in the form of a schnoodle (schnauzer/poodle) Molly is not allowed out front where the peonies are due to it not being fenced in...so if a dog or a cat is the villian it is due to someone not following the leash laws and allowing their animal to roam or an escapee that hasn't been caught yet LOL.
