Very rarely do the Morning doves actually land on the feeders. They usually feed on the ground below them. I picked up my camera when he first landed.
Then the move to the sunflower seed feeder.
Stood still for a while and a couple of birds landed to feed. He started to walk to the edge and I snapped this picture. LOL
So what do you think the house fench and house sparrow are thinking? LOL

I've seen a few try and you are right but this one was a little more coordinated than others...he actually did make it to the ledge but quickly decided he liked the ground better.
