Yesterday(mon)I was up at 5am as usual and it was bitterly cold,but by 10am it was lovely so had 2hrs in the garden before work,I bought a few plants over the weekend,euphorbia"purpurea",two Aubrieta"katie" and in wilkinsons a flowering currant called ribes aureum which ive never seen before but have high hopes for,my dad dropped off a blackcurrent bush and four raspberry bushs,my tomatoes have all come up and one mini cucumber,so exiting and im always surprised when my seeds grow.
I was in france last year and bought a small kiwi which I was upset to see had died when I was in hospital last sept,so I threw it into my garden bin,when I went to put some weeds in yesterday there it was sprouting new shoots,so I have rescued it into a new pot,love surprises and have a nice day christine

You had a good day,Christine..:o) .it was lovely here too..so good to get out there ..We have a very keen white frost this morning,but it promises to be another nice one....hope the kiwi does well for you..happy gardening..:o)

Wow I`m sometimes not been asleep by then, got my hours all mixed up, lol.
Sunshine here although quite cold but lots more sprouting after our rain on Sunday, pleased you managed a couple of hours before work and lucky you noticed the kiwi, just goes to show one should check the bin before adding the rubbish, hope it does well for you..
