Asclepias

My Asclepia Incarnata ‘Ice Ballet’ was 2 yrs old last year & had a few small flowers. It should survive this winter as its not been that cold. I am trying to grow some more plants from the seeds which are in propagator in greenhouse but I don’t normally have much success with seeds – everything crossed!! I gave some seeds to a gardening friend & she is good with them so still hope for more.
Pimpernel was very interested a year or so ago but account was closed which is a real shame.

Thanks Waddy, I'll report back. I've been reading your blogs and so sorry to hear about the wretched accident to your eye but glad its on the mend. Last year I got a rose thorn in the back of my hand and it went so deep that it cost over £400 to have it surgically removed! How fortunate it was not my eye. Just shows how careful one needs to be when pruning.

Thank you Linmar. Wow, £400!? That was an expensive thorn. Either way, I'll be taking more care in the future.

Waddy,
I think we all will especially the folk that have read your blog.

Waddy,
I am very pleased to find that the Asclepia seedlings are doing well - pricked out a week ago. The seeds came through quite quickly.
