Some plants just hold a special place!

I have showed Tanquana hilmarii to you, but at the same time the Pleiospilos bolusii flowers. They are known as the living rocks or split rock, as they imitate rocks in colour and form in order to protect against predation, but then 1 time a year they produce coconut perfumed flowers, definitely announcing that they are no rocks!!
Here they are with T. hilmarii in front. Very similar, but you cannot beat that fist-size rock on the left.
Have a great weekend.

Thanks, yes, they are unique. Clunky, nice to touch, a plant that can be enjoyed with various senses.

They are actually, I have come to understand that the problem is "battery production" in your regions and plants being pushed to size, making the sensitive and not hardened. They rot easily.

Lovely! I grew some pleiospilos from seed once but they never flowered. I didn't know the flowers would be scented.
