I have made on start on my rear south border as seen here in full go last year.
The Echinops have performed well and are my favourite. Heres a good one from last year.
Basically they are good but when I build a water feature onto my under cliff
You wouldnt have seen it for Echinops. So they are divided into two big clumps made up of three divisions.
The Crocosmias have gone. I have planted a few English Bluebells in there place.
There was a big Paeoni this has been put in a small gap on the east of my north east border behind the gravel path.
In the autumn I had already planted some Narcissi at the front (Noth ) of my South border.
Still to go in is a cheap black current and something else still to be decided to just pack it out without swapping it hieght wise. Maybe some woodland subtle wildflower seeds.

I bet you had your fair share of Wildlife last year LoM.,,,type of plants
that the Butterflys, Bees and Moths like. Like your choice of
Wildflower seeds, that will pack it out....

That Echinops is as wonderful plant. I've never tried growing it. It's a lovely colour.
