Oh NO! Not again!!

Well the day started off well enough, a little early perhaps at 6am. Go wake the dogs and step barefoot into a puppy puddle left just at the door (thanks Slugs)
After a coffee or two I potter in the garden, Pick tons of tomatoes and take a few photos………….
Of my Cerestogstigma
The window with the Verbena statis Seedlings growing everywhere that I must pot up
And my new ornamental grass the name of which on it’s little card I have left in my car!
The dogs have been running about and puppy Slugs is misbehaving so I put her indoors!
I take some photos of a snail climbing up the window pane….
And huge amounts of tomatoes
Then go inside to find this!!!!
I had been taking a few beans out of the bean bag because it was too full and had left a bin liner full of the beans on the kitchen table!
About an hour later! A happy slug back on the giant beanbag and butter wouldn’t melt.
But count myself lucky because she could have had both of these down as well!
Well, the day is young!

Honestly Lincslass, that puppy is naughtier then her Mum and Aunt put together when they were pups! Luckily it wasn't the beanbag itself just a bin liner I had filled with the excess beans. And that innocent look is wearing a bit thin now!

Found the care card it's called Stipa Arundinacea. It's a lovely colour.

In trouble again, Slug....naughty puppy! I'm glad too that it was only 'leftover' beads....had it been the bean bag....well, let's not go there! lol
The Stipa Arundinacea is a beautiful colour and it's really set off by the rock directly behind. Good choice.

Hi Grandmage, Yes all those nuts but not from one tree! All around our local woods are nut trees. I spend hours picking them, don't know where the squirrels have got to?

Thats pups for you lol like having a todler never knowing what you ll open your door to hehe.

I'm glad it was no worse, Lulu! It was funny sitting here reading it, though....
I suspect those seedlings are Verbena bonariensis.....lovely plants! Yours seed themselves everywhere, as well, just like mine do! Good habit, that. :-)))
By the way, the Stipa does, too...haha.
8 Sep, 2010
Ooh, I don't mind Stipa seedlings, will have to widen my borders!!!
9 Sep, 2010
LOL....we all keep losing pieces of lawn, don't we! And why not?
My Stipas are in flower at the moment - I say that in the plural. because two plants are self-sown, and grew in a good place, so they stayed. Watch out for babies in all kinds of awkward places, as well as near their 'Mum', like your Verbena bon!

Pamg, Mum and Auntie are angels!!! Slugs is just plain naughty. She has been beating up my two smoke bush trees and has been bouncing off my lavender! She hasn't understood what 'get off my flowers bed ' means yet!

It's so hard to be angry with them when they do that big eyed look, whatever they have trashed :-))

Ha,now that is a sight I can relate to, our Brynner is a very large 1yr old and often finds his own amusement in much the same way, everything is at risk and worth investigating to see how strong it is and what its made of. I think he does it to keep me busy, lol. I also know that innocent look.......
