It's a Slugs Life!

Once upon a time I was very little puppy. I was given the nickname of ‘The Big White Slug!’ I lived in a big whelping box along with my 3 brothers and 3 sisters………..and Mummy Prudence.

And that’s me again lying on my back with the big tum!
Of course my mummy Prudence loved me, as did the two two legged creatures who gave me lots of cuddles. in fact they rather singled me out! I was taken into the room with a big cosy fire and there my mummy fed me. And they kept taking photographs of me too, bless ’em!

It wasn’t long after we were given proper food that the two legged people made us sleep in a stable. We didn’t mind, it was nice and warm, lots of room to play in the straw and far enough away from home to make lots of yappy noises. We were allowed in the garden also, that was fun making Lulu very cross indeed by bouncing on her flowers! She doesn’t think I understand what ‘get OFF the flowerbed’ means but I do really but sometimes she adds another word to the sentence which I really don’t understand!?
I started to make friends….cats, dogs, people …..

That’s Devil cat, she hisses at me so I bark at her!
I have been known to be a bit naughty at times (remembering the bean bag episode!heehee) and today I had a little run in with the bag of food left in the utility room when Lulu forgot to close the door, I tried to look innocent but she didn’t believe me!!

I have also fairly recently destuffed an big garden cushion AND the pull out bed which was full of lovely foam!! But they didn’t take pictures of that!

I am a lucky pup really, they take me to the pub and last week end they took me to a really fun place, it was a folk festival called foxstock. I was quite good there (basically I was tied to a table leg so didn’t have much choice!! )
We slept in a tent with me under the duvet because I was cold. My mummy Prudence wasn’t very good though because she went and made MORE puppies with a collie dog but we won’t talk about that… naughty Prudence!! Here are some photos of me at the festval………….

And that was my first river and there’s that cushion I destuffed!!
Amd me on the bed next to the computer which Lulu spends far too much time on when she should be in the garden but the view out of the window is rather lovely. All my horsey friends…..

So never mind that I have ended up with such a silly name, they didn’t think that they would end up keeping me, so the name has stuck! And in five short months I have done so very many different things and Lulu and her OH love me SO much I am a very happy Sluggy Pup Indeed.

And God bless all the people who love us dogs so very much that they even allow them, albeit reluctantly, to break the odd flower or two, or three!
