I haven’t done much in the way of gardening lately, but yesterday I sowed some seeds sent by my Japanese friend. Some were Orange Cosmos, Forgetme nots (large ones, she said) and a couple of others I can’t remember the name of at the moment.
Mr. Mad has early potatoes growing in a container, so we’re hoping for a better crop than last year. He said they cost a £1 per spud last year! Some exaggeration there I think.
When the sun goes down I’m going to plant out some Petunias in a big black pot.
Yesterday Mr. M dug out a few Hebe’s killed by frost, and he also sowed some Californian Poppies and planted Tagetes. He also tidied three climbing roses and the Pyracantha. He has never been a gardener, but now he is trying to do all the things I can no longer do. I’m very thankful, but now he is threatening to help out all the Goy people with advice and volunteer for Gardener’s World! I’ve only just forgiven him for murdering my primroses last year, which have miraculously come back.
I’ve added a few photos I just took in the garden. Its too hot to move.

Thanks to Mr M for helping out, it can be so frustrating when we can't do the things we used to. Your garden certainly looks tidy!
We are hot here too, it's lovely to have the sun but we have had no time to acclimatize to the heat that has come with it.....however Tuesday is supposed to cool down again.
