Beautiful Iris

the blue flowers look like Spanish bluebells but I guess you are asking about the iris.

They look like Dutch iris a small bulb. possibly Apollo or Symphony. But there are lots of them and new varieties keep coming on the market.

I did indeed enjoy the sailing and the fact we had our eldest daughter and her boyfriend with us. so relaxing. Not done any gardening in the last couple of weeks as I have been quilting.

I have bought some of the bulbs so I will now have to wait to see if they grow. If they fail I will buy some more in the Autumn.

Think I have some of the lovely yellow/white Iris, well I did last year put it that way, hoping they will be in flower soon, sorry cannot think of the name but they really are lovely...
