These blue chutney tubs i got from work.It as been bugging me for months and months as to what i could do with them.So i brought 4 home today and i have made two barrel planters for me and two for the mother in law.Hope you all like them:))))))

Brilliant! You'd love this region - the older folk are so used to re-cycling stuff and will plant up in anything! Just down on the valley floor is a casa with three large one-time paint containers with enormous aged hostas growing in them - been there for 12 years to my knowledge. The old ideas are the best ideas!

ooooh!! I couldn't throw those away Hywel, I'd just keep them clogging up the garage - just in case!!! They might come in useful for something one day! Now see what Mark has done with them - marvellous idea. (you can tell I am a magpie - or a squirrel!!)
He might even be able to sell them in a car-boot sale made up like that!!!
