Apples and Grapes today :)))

Fantastic, Mark! I am from old vineyard family :-) I didn t knw that you can grow grapes up there, as vine needs certain optimal number of sunny days per year. What sort is it?

The birds will enjoy this years crop Mark, I used to have one growing against one of our sheds and the blackbirds loved the grapes, lost mine two winters back......

I wish to Mark that he will taste all his grapes. It is wonderful ffeling to come out in the morning and take from the tree your own apples or pick up your own vegetable. Lincslass@And it depends if blackbirds have other sources of food, too. In our vineyards there are rowans along vineyards, strawmen and sometimes hunters who shoot. But this is not recommended to Mark inside the street, lol.

The grapes have really shocked me as this being there first year i didnt expect any at all.They are still thriving really well .

Katarina we have had some fantastic sunny weather this year which i think that as helped tonnes as you said.i do hope it continues next year as i really want to try them.I have actually got the label still for these for a change lol.They are called vitis vinifera sauvignon.They are still very small but im not sure if thats our they are suppose to be :))))
