The hawthorn tree as a backdrop to front garden.

Gorgeous colours, as good a show as any autumn tree display, I like the waterfall effect of the maythorn. And that lovely soft evening light, just beautiful!

The tree looks spectacular on it's own as a highlight. We have a tall hawthorn hedge which though impressive now in flower, somehow doesn't stand out as much as yours. Must take some photo's! Those are on our field, our garden is nowhere near as impressive as yours, it's beautiful.

Hawthorne's are beautiful at this time of year. I also love the cow parsley on all the verges, cultivated version ammi majus always has a place in my garden.
