I’m wondering 🤔 how many of you are enjoying Carol Klein’s new Spring gardening series…..I never thought I would hear myself saying this, but I am learning so much more from her programmes than I do from Gardener’s world with Monty.(Although his relaxed manner of presenting is still attractive)
I do hope she does all the seasons.
Does anyone feel the same?
We are visiting Aberglasney Gardens in Carmarthenshire in August where Carol recorded a few programmes showing the seasonal changes.. It has a magnificent orchid house and a long Laburnum archway.
Will take some photos and write a blog after our visit.

She seems more relaxed in her own garden - not so much gesticulating and poetic transports! She is more down to earth.

I’ve missed it so far but will hope to catch it soon, thanks.

I really like her programme too and she has such a natural manner as she explains things. She is very helpful and I learn something each time I watch.

I am really looking forward to watching these programmes ... I refer to one of her books on propagating quite often ... such a helpful guide. I seem to have more success with cuttings now than I do with sowing seeds!

I haven't watched it yet but will get it on Catchup, I do like Carol, agree she is better when in her own garden, I find she gushes too much when presenting at a show..

I was never a big fan of Carol Klein, but, I’ve warmed to her over the last couple of years. I used to be such a big fan of Monty, but, I am finding him more and more detached from ‘ normal British gardeners’. I did enjoy his small gardens series several years ago however.
I do enjoy tuning in to the Beechgrove garden. I’ve watched it since I was a small child, it was a favourite of my maternal grandfather.
