Photinia Red Robin

Just simply addicted to them. I have over 25 dotted about in the garden. I do not prune them very much..but they always produce these beautiful red leaves.

There were more, I simply could not get a good shot of them:(

Good job you have enough room for them Michaella, and they do compliment your garden.

You certainly have some nice ones Michaella. Its funny, I had them in the old place, as you know, and I really appreciated them for their quick growing, evergreen and bright foliage in the spring. But I have to admit, I can't see myself growing one here. They've never been a passion like they are for you! :)

Thank you Stroller :))) Karen, maybe one day you might change your mind, and plant one somewhere in your garden. As for me....they are like pets...even with this many, I have to force myself away from them when I come across them at a garden centre. Lol..

They really stand out against the rest of your shrubs Michaella, I have one and love it, they really glow when the sun is on them, mine got broken down last year by Brynner so its a bit mishapen at the moment although has doubled in size, one main branch is laying across the garden, I'm wondering if it will root if I staked it down then I could have two next year...
