Mother's Day

Michaella-my mothersday so far. After having enjoyed a rather messy breakfast in bed made by my two boys, my husband has decided to take my sons to the cinema to give me some time to potter in the garden without interruptions! What a perfect mothersday gift! (for me at least) Enjoy!

I'm hoping to spend a bit of time in the garden too, did a bit yesterday hope you have a lovely day too :))

You are both very fortunate Mums! Its freezing cold here with a thick fog! :) However, I have just been given a lovely card and scented candle and informed that my Son is coming over later to cook dinner for all of us! How about that?! :))

p.s. Michaella...what a stunning rose...looks like Gertrude Jekyll? Gorgeous!

I hope you enjoyed your day, thats a beautiful rose and thankyou Michaella, I had a lovely day, my son drove over very early this morning to see me and then we went round my youngest daughters for dinner, lovely day all round.

Mine started by taking breakfast up to OH!
then 3 loads of washing to be processed.

However I have been in the garden/greenhouse for the rest of the day. Lunch and coffee provided by youngest daughter. She also cooked roast lamb and all the trimmings for tea.

Found lily beetles though :o(

as mother's day go this one has been rather pleasant.
