well these past few days I have trimmed and cut and tidied and weeded the garden within an inch of its life.So its now looking really nice apart from the many bags and tubs of grass cuttings and daed flowers etc that are sitting stinking in the sun.

I emailed about my composter and I am very please to say that it should be here tomorrowWOHOO AM VERY EXCITED. I know its only a composter but to me as a newbie its brilliant.

Just been out to have a wander and take some snaps and it is decidedly chilly now. After being told we would have rain all week (im not moaning) it has been sunshine everyday so I think its now changing.

Veg patch before:

Beginning of oirental area:

I put a wanted on my local freecycle about a week ago for some plants, why not someone may have a clear out and I hate waste.A lady emailed me to say she had some bamboo i was welcome to dig up (now in the green pots at the rear)
Yes definatly I said brilliant thanks very much…..OH GOOD GOD! it was everywhere. That lady has her work cut out there. It took me almost an hour to dig a small patch and my ribs feel like Ive been beaten. It hurts to breathe deeply, hugs hurt too which is awful as Im a cuddle lover. If anybody reading this is thinking of planting bamboo in their garden
PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE take my advice keep it in pots. I have been warned about this and after digging it up thats where mine will be in pots.

Bob the budha is now in his spot. as is my Chaenmoles (scuse the spelling)

My Alcea Rosea which I recently found is part of the Holyhock family so am chuffed to learn something else.

These are now taller than my greenhouse.

Sidalcea are romping

Sunflowers are all open.

new growth on the Clematis, potted on in the greenhouse after some advice :o)

Dahlias nearly all finished

The first of my many chillis growing wohoo

Right Im off to lay on the sofa have been a lazy worm today but I really cant do much else… shame hehe

love to all and happy days

Great job Mookins. It is looking great. Glad you put your bamboo in pots. I learned about bamboo when I was a kid and there was some growing in the garden of the house we were living in. I'm sure it would eventually have started growing up through the house floor one day!!
