Busy Time

Its been a busy time for me this last 2 weeks ..
My daughter got married on June 19th and it was a wonderful day and i was a very proud dad
The little man is my grandson Rhys 3 who was the ring bearer
Then it was my birthday and my lovely wife treated me to a weekend of lazing in hotel pool and hot tub and a go karting session ..Of which i have to say she won…But i did have a dodgy kart which had to be changed in the second session ..
Then we spend the afternoon at Felbrigg House and a great time walking round in the sunshine
In the evening we had a meal at a place called a taste of Oz .
just outside Norwich..I apologize to anyone over 40 i have just eaten Skippy !! He was very tasty..
And then this Sunday we joined in the open garden’s for the the fund raising for the local church who’s windows are falling out and need repairing..
Wonderful weather with a nice occasional gust of wind and some flowers making a timely showing…
And my Cardiocrinnon made a timely entrance by opening on Friday
just in time
We had about 40 couples vist the garden and lots of very positive comments and interest..which makes all the hard work worth while as you never know what people think …
Also talking to some people who had never heard of GOY some said they might even give it ago !! So we may find some new friends too
So far this year i have had 3 weddings and funeral and with one more to go in August that makes me a film star ..LOL…
Four weddings and a funeral..
Move over Hugh ….

You will find it hard to be top of the bill with all that fantastic talent around. Great blog. Congratulations and may the happy couple have a long and happy life together. Belated birthday wishes and thank you for sharing with us. Your garden is looking very mature for someone who has only recently started gardening.

Mushybanna:
Here in California people can be VERY touchy about eating certain types of animal meat also. Although, it's an interesting change to try something new to eat every so often.
Our weather is back to normal...and the ending of this week we may get up close to 100 degrees/ 38 degrees C. for the first time this year...which usually happens in late April or May. I think we're going to be hoping for the cooler weather to come back soon.
