The Caribbean

My wife and I went on a Caribbean cruise for our honeymoon this January taking in 12 islands in 14 days.
I thought I would share with you some of the delights we saw.
Can’t name a lot of the plants but there were coconuts, guavas
Pineapples, coffee beans, chocolate and many wonderful smelling spices, like nutmeg, ginger….MMmmmm I can still smell them now!
The scenery is so diverse from Jurassic Park rainforest to sandy beaches so hot you have to put shoes on to walk on it .
Would I ever go back? … Oh yes
PS I got carried away there’s quite a few photo’s you might want a cup of coffee..LOL

The Mama and Papa falls of Dominica

Now that’s an Agave

These are tree termites that will eventually eat the tree completly

This is the centre of the Banana tree which is made into stocking’s for women and if you twist the fibres is used for fishing line’s as it is very strong and hard to snap..

The Royal Botanical Garden of Trinidad

And finally This is how we went

And Now Meet the Mushy’s……….. Aka Dave and Debs
