Our new little black cat has an official NAME and her very first video on Youtube, linked at the bottom of this blog! The black cat that we were originally after at the animal shelter was named “Mystic”, pictured here:
Mystic had already been adopted and I was heart-broken. To make a long story short, my wife and I were talking this evening and I suggested that we might change a few letters of the name Mistic and make it Misty. My wife loved it and now we have the official new name for our new baby!

Here’s Misty getting some rubs from Daddy tonight and she is one little happy spoiled camper! {chuckle} She has adjusted SO well to her new home and loves to sit at the bar next to me:
This has become HER bar stool and HER place to lay after Daddy gets home from work. :-)

What a lovely name for a gorgeous little cat. You are both so lucky to have found each other. A home is so empty without a pet.

Our Symba' s favourite trick is to hide behind the door and jump on the dog or any other poor passer by,lol.

lovely cat! You'll have to make a video titled "Play, Misty, for Me"!. Just watched this and others of your videos on Youtube. Was enthralled by the Sunday Storm ones (we just don't get rain like that here), and enjoyed the housebuild record (not as popular here in UK as overseas - well, we'd run out of space quickly, lol!). :-)

Little "Misty" has been a huge addition to our new home and is a source of joy every day! She had a brother in the same cage at the animal shelter and often calls out for him, so we are working on adopting him also! He's a beautiful solid gray haired male that loves to be held and rubbed also.
We will know Monday or Tuesday if we can have him!
I just cannot wait! :-)
