Black and White

Due to constant rain, hail and storms I have been unable to do any gardening so spurred on by Lil I decided to try my hand at a black and white mosaic. I hope you can guess who it is but I will give you a clue it’s a 60’s icon.
Going out to the GC to have a browse and most probably a purchase or three:)

Thanks Hywel, still raining storming and hailing here in not so sunny Bournemouth but I did do some plant buying at the weekend:)

Sorry to hear of your bad weather :o( I hope it improves for you this afternoon. Glad you were able to buy some plants ...

Yes I bought two clematis to go round the arch and Brian got the kango and got the concrete up and we dug deep and put John Innes No3 down and planted those in between showers as I was trying to use a pot for the clemetis and it wasn't working. Also bought a lovely varigated geranium and a trailing bright orangey one to go in a lovely wall pot that I bought too, unfortunately they are still not planted due to the heavy rain.

I love those variegated geraniums. I think clematis need deep soil, I've never been able to grow them successfully in a pot. I hope they do well in the ground for you.

Hi Hywel yes the varigated geraniums are lovely might get another one, weather is not improving and my lawn is like a bog because we have had so much rain but hopefully next week it might stop forecast is heavy rain all this week for our area.
