A rainless day ..

Monday the last day of April and it’s not raining hooray !! I spent 3hrs in the garden tying up drooping plants and having a good look around and taking pics .I found the first lily beetle and disposed of it ! I have a row of salad up under my cloche in my new veg patch so really pleased. The rhubarb really likes the rain as it is growing like mad. The Hostas I planted in my stone wall are coming up well and the Heucheras are doing great. Dicentra is flowering and there are buds in Zephirine Drouhin and the white and Mauve lilac are showing colour. Let’s hope the rain is on the way out so we can enjoy being in the garden again.

Its all looking grand Nanjo and is a real treat to go out and be able to do a few jobs in the sunshine, lovely pics, your plants are doing well and isn`t it good to spot a rosebud...

It's turned a lot colder today Lincslass - when is this weather going to improve ?? I still have the heating on ! The flowers that are out don't seem to be lasting very well and if the rosebuds have any sense they will stay closed for a bit longer ! .....
