Storm !!

Hi everyone, we have had a wet and miserable BH Monday, such a change after the last few days. No gardening today :-(
We did have a terrific storm around 4pm which lasted for quite a while, thunder ,lightening heavy rain and large hailstones oh and some sunshine mixed in too !
It was quite amazing to watch so I took some pics….
These are from the front window..
These are taken from the back windows..
It didn’t take long for the ice to disappear after the storm, but it was great to watch and the hailstones were like small marbles.

we were very lucky, the rain here came during the night, it was just cold and cloudy all day yesterday, hopefully things will start to warm up now:-)

Wow... what a storm you had ! Not very good Bank Holiday weather for many in the UK .. but, as Paul says ... pretty front garden :o)

I've just seen the Oxfordshire storms on TV ...

I saw it on the local news this eve and they aren't sure if it was a tornado or not Terra. Apparently it has to touch the ground to be one!

A bank holiday to treasure wasn`t it, lots of events cancelled because of waterlogged ground, we've had a pretty miserable day really, I did manage an hour in the greenhouse but mainly it was grey and wet, very heavy rain late afternoon and evening but pleased to say no hailstones...
