Ashwood Helleborus Plug Plants

I just received 6 plug plants from Ashwood Nurseries.
Normally mature Ashwood Garden Hybrids costs from 14.00 to 25.00 quid per pot (ouch!) and I simply can’t afford it (lol), so I decided to get it much cheaper.
The flowers should be bloomed in the second spring so I’ll have to wait another two years or so.
Pros:
Cheap! 25.00 quid (double flowers) for 6 plug plants including P&P
Enjoying to see them growing
Cons:
Can’t choose which colour of flowers you want
Slow growing – will have to wait for another two years to see the first flowers
The 6 plug-helleborus were packed well and no damages during the transport.
They’re still baby but I’m so excited!
I used 2:1:1 of John Innes No.2, multi-purpose compost, perlite, then planted them in 9cm plastic pots immediately.
I’ll keep posting when I can see something changing.
Peace!
