Some nice specimens lovely photos. the Ashwood Carousel is quite different to yours. What plants did you buy ?

There are some different colours of Ashwood Carousel....mine is orange, the picture shown here is yellow and others are salmon pink and magenta etc......

I bought calceolaria and campanula....both are new for me to grow......

I was hoping to enter this show in the novice section,but the hassle I would have had getting up the a13,due to the marathon,put an end to that idea.
Have you not thought of entering,Naoto?

I grew Calceolaria Darwinii Years back for a couple of years But it was a martyr to green fly

Perhaps I need to get ready with Vitax Organic spray - I shouldn't use synthetic bug killer for this, should I?

Agree stay away from the strong ones they are detrimental to a lot of alpines especially ones with thin or soft leaves.What I have taken to doing in recent years where a strong killer was necessary is spray, leave it on for only a matter of minutes then spray the plant again with clean water to remove.

True.....but Vitax organic 2 in 1 REALLY stinks (lol - because it consists of sesame seed oil and fish oil)
