BACK GARDEN

Hi everyone
well we had our meeting the beginning of july, didnt get very far, they are now not going to build flats in our gardens it will be bungalows, but we still dont know everything yet untill they do the revised plans, which is a pain as we all want to know whats going on, as the council have said they expect to start in may next year, they still say they will need to put a public footpath between me and my neighbours which i strongly contested.
any way i will let you know when i know a bit more
thanks all

This is an awful shame Nita, I've just caught up on your previous blogs about this and I'm soooo angry on your behalf.
How could they be so merciless in their aproach to this? Your going to lose your garden AND have people wandering past your bedroom window? Try standing in front of the chairman's window and peering in see how he/she likes it.
As others have said, Money, money, money, it's all they think about. Some jobsworth (who has never even been to the area) has probably looked at a map and said "there's a space, lets plonk some property there".
I hope you find a way to stop them, I really do. If not and you can't get moved they had better drop your rent.
Lots of luck XXX

Hmmmm :(
I suppose low level roofing is better than high buildings but still not great news generally for you :(

Keep fighting in every way you can Nita. If you can keep putting up obstacles you may just get it deferred for long enough for the National Park status to be enforced. Against all the odds a planning application for 15 houses at the rear of my daughter's garden has been refused. They came up with every obstacle they could think of, from traffic to flood plain to bats! The flood plain won it!! We didn't realise that Councils receive large sums from developers as 'contributions for providing services'

I hope you keep your garden and your privacy.
Good luck in your campaign.

This situation is just diabolical...you must fight, fight and fight again.....we would all sign your petition. If someone wanted to build houses in my garden I would probably torch it!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Try everything Nita, don't leave anything to chance.
There are plenty of people on here that would help with the technical stuff (I should imagine) and I'm sure the others will be behind you every step of the way
