my first sculpture revissited

this sculpture in my front garden I built in 2005 . it was my first attempt at concrete sculpting . I got a big bail of straw and rapped chicken wire around it . I built the eyes and teeth seperatly indoors on chicken wire which I added later after the first layer of cement . I put a few layers on the head and the last one I added part of a grow bag too . this was to get it aged really quick . if you look at the teeth and eyes compared to the rest I have accomplished my goal . im really pleased with it .

Lol..I've just been reading all the comments about your concrete settee,Leigh..as I missed them for some reason..now I know what you mean about making it green..perfect match just don't let Hulk sit on it! :o)

my new creation is finished . just got to let the green dry and tidy up and put up on a couple of cushions . there will be a blog real soon .
