i'm just off to my art class Np and I am in awe at the life you have in the dog and in pastel-- I know how difficult it is to work with and to get details -- especially expressions but after seeing your oran utans I knew it would be good !

thanks Np-- I think that I told you i'm using watercolour at the moment and sometimes its so frustrating as you can't 'rub it out'! recently I did a collage of butterfly wings using ink as well and today i started one of pansies and violas-- its not only drawing them correctly but mixing the right colour as well!

Wow - I bet Skillen and friend will be delighted! I particularly like the dog's nose which looks all wet and quivery to me ;-) And I like the artistic way you've approached the background too. Big pat on the back NP!

just keep persisting pam its mostly the wanting to do something that gets you to the end result.its worth dating your work including the month .good and bad then you can look back and see wear your art is going.this idea would work on a lot of productive things.
shux thanx amy and sid i feal humbled like a little school boy .i hope skillens friend lets me know and i will let you know .
strangly enough im normaly in touch with skillen via email but its sods law she hasnt been about now its finished.the framing will make it look twice as good and its going to end up in a castle . im hoping for a picture of it on the wall and ofcourse skillens friends comments . i like that bit the best lol .i was up till gone 3 am this morning and all i remember is just quickly picking the pencil up for a min about 3pm lol.i must of got lost in the zone . i go into like a time warp wear im ot realy aware of much around me .mad loved her gorilla bye the way im glkad to say . take care bye for now xx.
