I recently described my front porch, but couldn’t include pics..it was too sunny that day. today’s overcast, just right, so these are particularly for Steragram, and anyone else who’s interested..please note, the flowers are artificial..i have no way to water real ones..The porch will be stained white this summer..yipee!!!

thanks, Loosestrife2, i do love sitting out there..the lattice cuts down the glare from the driveway..you're right about this community..people here take pride in their homes, and many have truly lovely gardens

Looks lovely and the artificial flowers look really good without worrying whether they have the right amount of light/sun/water! The trellis is ideal, sunshade and somewhere to sit and watch the neighbours - not that I am implying anything, but people watching is fun.

People watching is a hard thing to do when almost everyone is in their home looking out the window at their neighbors goings on with binoculars.

hi Honeysuckle and Loosestrife..the great thing about the lattice is that while i can see out very clearly, nobody can see me!..makes for great neighbourhood watching..birds, animals, and people!...

That looks like a very relaxing veranda. From what I can see, you live in a nicely kept retirement community.
