I hope the damage in your garden isn't too servere.

Its quite severe Hywel, I think I live in a wind tunnel, I am too scared to go out there today, and survey the scene, I have some lovely dahlias that were getting big, but I bet they have gone although they were staked heavily, the trouble is the roses have all fell on top of other things, like kaffir lillies delphs etc. I think I am giving up this year, I was supposed to be exhibiting in a rose show but have pulled out, they are in such a mess. boo boo.

So sorry the weather has ruined things for you, that iris is stunning, its like cadburys chocolate purple..... One of my favourite colours x x hope the damage is not too severe when you brave going to check xx

thank you friends. I have to say the gusts have died down now, but I have never seen gusts like it, the trees were in half almost. ok its only my garden, I will have a new one next year, I have been doing some fund raising for the poor dogs destined for the vietnam meat trade, it is horrific, now that does make me cry. bigtime. x x

That's such a shame Patricia. I'm sorry to hear that. I can understand what it must be like because my garden is windy aswell, being on the side of a hill and facing west ... it gets the full blast from the Atlantic lol

What a shame - so disappointing for you after all the work Lets hope some better weather soon helps things to recover a bit.
