I’m new to this never done a blog before! so here goes. I bought some hessian sacks to store my potato crop now they stink horrible and made the skins of my potatoes taste horrible. So my trick was to wash them on a 30 – 40 deg delicate wash twice with 2 tablespoons of bicarb in with the washing powder that has done the trick. Hope this helps someone!

Thanx i found on a website somewhere to use pure soap disolved in water for most insect pests. I had a really bad infestation of caterpillars all different types on my broccolli. I had some soap flakes and disolved it in hot water and then filled the rest of pump spray up with cold water and sprayed the little blighters it did kill them but only the live caterpillarsI had to spray again as some more caterpillars appered just hatched i think! hope this help someone to.
