Crocosmia Lucifer

Pretty colours...

thought this was montbretia and lucifer was bigger and red PP, sorry if im wrong

Mine isn,t ready yet , it always makes me think of autumn , I suppose it,s the colour !

Sandra I think Crocosmia are the same plants as Montbretia but Lucifer is usually under the name of Crocosmia?

yes PP same family,think colour on pic looks more orange on my laptop, :o)

That is very pretty, is it hard to care for?

Not a a bit, dont do anything pop it into the ground and it very quickly settles in, makes quite big clumps and is very hardy!

I bought 8 corms Pp and planted them in two tubs....only one flower though between them so they'll be going in the garden later.

I think I bought mine as an established plant Janey and had flowers almost straight away, but Im sure yours will romp away once the settled in the garden..

Pretty like this colour.

Its very Striking , dont think the colour in this picture does it justice!, a much deeper rich Red!

I have this one myself so I know what lovely deep they are
