Can only agree with Irish. Agastache is great for lots of insects.

There were bees on them, too - and several butterflies this afternoon!

Lovely close up, we had quite a few here as well before yesterdays torrent !!

I have a small patch of Agastache which I grow specifically for the insects.

Yes Spritz to your second question. It is Agastache anisata. The answer to your first question is sometimes although I don't rely on it and save seeds every year and raise new plants.

OK - thanks -I read it up, and it says 'hardy'...but I wasn't at all sure. It doesn't have the appearance of a hardy plant.
