Now Polly is no longer able to go for long walks I took her down the Close to visit Vera who lives at the end, couldnt resist taking a picture of her Birdbath looking pretty with all the roses, Polly left her a litle present on the lawn but I was well prepared with my scented p Bags LOL

Thanks Terra, Vera will be very pleased, she isnt able to do her own garden now and has a gardener who has planted lots of roses for her as that is her favourite flower, she was upset when she saw the damage the rains have done but I managed to assure her that they will come back as good as new..

Polly always likes to leave a calling card. the Roses really are beautiful!, Vera lives at the bottom of our little Close Just 5 bungalows and three houses, all the neighbours have contributed to landscape the end of the cul de sac with roses and native trees. this backs onto woodland and Bridle paths and extends the natural countryside.

It sounds lovely. I bet you enjoy living there. Pitty more people didn't take a pride in their surroundings.

We do enjoy it, after the cottage we were both apprehensive but have really fitted in and everyone is so appreciative of the surrounding area

Thanks Grindle, yes they must make a fortune out of them! what does infuriate me though is these people who Bag it and leave it, I think that that is worse that not doing anything, seen them hanging from bushes and tossed among the wild flowers etc.quite often in garish coloured bags too GRRRRRRRRRRR got that off my chest LOL

Lovely roses, nature is stronger than man, wood is stronger than steel, so your friend has nothing to worry about. A wooden ship is stronger than a steel ship as wood gives mental does nt.
