These little poppies are so very pretty and the colours range from cream to deep pink, much preferrable to the bright orange ones

OMG, PP, I have some if not the same, very similar to this one..Hope they turn out like yours. My shirley poppies are just beginning today, but i have noticed some buds on my california poppies as well.

Mine have been fabulous, Love these pinks and creams the best, although the Orange looks very striking and bright, the only thing I have found they do get quite sprawling, been cutting back a bit today, the other positive is the the seed cases very decorative in themselves. I bet your Shirley Poppies are very Pretty, had some a few years back but might try them again next year.

I agree about the pastel colours, Pp - I tried to grow some pink Escholzia last year, but only one plant appeared...it was beautiful! - sadly, it didn't even TRY to seed itself!
