Thanks Morgana and Irish - it's that love-suffering mum again with her joey. She just looks so over it!

Poor mum what us mum put up with.

Thank god I'm not a marsupial - the leg, whatever, sticking out looks so uncomfortable for mum, though its probably not.

Bamboo - I just get so uncomfortable on behalf of the mum when I see how the joeys are hanging out sometimes! I'm sure she must be uncomfortable.

You just have the most wonderful picture every time you look outside your house. From the pics I've seen, so far, of yours BH, you can literally frame every view & add the wildlife in and .....pure magic!
It doesn't get much better.:0)-

Oddbillie - this place is a special spot. We've always lived in the suburbs, so we're really enjoying the life out here because we get to see things like this everyday.

and good luck to you BH. You must feel quite blessed now then to be living in such a spot.
Good on ya I say and keep the pics coming coz they're fascinating :0)

LOL poor Mum hugs a rock while poor Joey can't be that comfy either!
Just love it :o))

Neellan - she was holding the rock and using it like a scratching post. They must get itchy!

Even more LOL! poor mum itchy outside and scratchy inside !!

Good one Neellan! The things mums have to put up with!

This is a great photo - not something I would ever see in my garden here!

Beanerella - we consider ourselves rather privileged to be able to see these fantastic creatures almost every day.

Beautiful! Lucky you!

I know Homebird - I cringe every time I see this poor mum with her huge joey still trying to fit in the pouch. He's always got bits hanging out - either head, tail or legs!

Most of these Agile Wallaby mums carry joeys until they're about 8 months old but I think this one is definitely older. He looks about half the size of mum when he's out of the pouch.
