Thanks Sandra...Ray wants to put in a cement base 1st, about 3 inches thick, Then he has to build the walls up to match the wall at the back of it..Then put in a butyl liner....that will be fun.....It should end up being 3mtrs by 2mtrs and about 3ft 6 deep.......We are going to have some sort of waterfall at the far back corner and, maybe something that spouts water from this end as well.......and whatever else I can badger him into buying.......:>} Lol.....

Thanks Toto Oddbillie and Dotty.......I think Ray wants to put a layer of cement accross the base this weekend, thank god he has borrowed a cement mixer! otherwise I might be leaving home ha ha , and we are going to order the face bricks that he wants. Think I will pass on the massage Toto, my back is too sore to let him near it..........

Actually Rhodea, the idea was very spur of the moment......at least on Ray's part.......I just thought if I let him have his pond then he would get round to widening my border the other side of the garden........I hope!......

Then it worked out perfectly! Hope to see a picture of it when it's all completed.
