A close relative of 'Goldsturm' - just a slight difference in the central 'cone'.

Beautiful pic Spritz.
I have the Goldsturm but unfortunately it was smothered by my Dahlia, Bishop of Landoff. Another example of my "expert" garden design skills.

That's surprising, Toto - they are such vigorous plants once they get going! I'm shocked that the Bishop exerted his authority! Bad Bishop!...lol.

I think he must have performed an exocism.

He didn't do much at all here - one of him I didn't even bother planting out - he's a midget Bish, still in a pot - his brother is in the garden, but not really producing a good quantity of flowers.
Donald Ward did so much better..and still is! I shan't bother with the Bishop next year, unless the one in the garden survives.

I hate to boast. Well I don't really but my Bishop is about 5ft tall and has a spread of about 3 to 4ft. It has been covered in flowers for a long time now and I'm sure it will go on to the frosts.

What did you feed it on?? Magic potion??

I cannot divulge my secret Spritz but suffice it to say that he does sing quite a lot in the late evening.
