When the petals fall off, this lovely tactile head is left. I can't go past it without stroking it!

I don't want to dead-head them, Eileen, the plants still look good!

They look very tactile, as their name suggests. :-)

I've only come across this plant recently and think it is lovely. I saw a white one.
Did you grow it from seed?

If you leave the heads on you will probably have lots of new little Agastache's next year as the self set easily.

No, Weedpatch - not this kind. I did grow the orange ones in my 'hot' border, though! I have a freebie packet of seeds, so if these don't survive the winter, I can grow some!
It would be great if they did self-seed, but I don't often get seedlings in my close-planted garden...

You should be able to collect some seed then, Spritz. More plants for the stall next year, lol.

What else?
See who else is growing Agastache foeniculum (Anise Hyssop).
See who else has plants in genus Agastache.
This photo is of "Agastache foeniculum" in Spritzhenry's garden
