It,s nice to see one , where have they all gone ? the windows use to be covered in them when it was dark , and driving in the dark was a nightmare as they all came towards you , you very rarely see any now !

Like the moth Irish, it looks like the Tazmanian devil from the bugs bunny cartoons with a cape on, flapping in the wind behind him...lol, and no ....,I don't do drugs....lol.
I love the plant it's on too !.... It's Potentilla right ?! Sometimes called shrubby Cinquefoil.

I used to have mixed feelings about these little chaps the thought of them fluttering about into your face at night time used to be enough to panic me but they are so beautiful (even when I visualise Flcrazy's description) I think its so easy to overlook them & as someone else said recently they are so similar to butterflies
Oh Im sure its a Potentilla they flower for ages don't they :-)
