thanks Eileen~I do like these flowers!
Last year when I was at Hampton Court I bought about six or so very small plug ones~ different types but mostly dark blue and purple and they have come on well this year but not flowered ~in all the gales etc most of the labels have got mixed up or lost so I am not sure what I have any more ! I will be putting the 1 litre pots under cover over the winter and hope to get them flowering next year when they should be of a flowering size~it takes a while for them to get there like hellebores! I hope that yours and mine will do the decent thing and put on a show!

I love the Agapanthus. Mine are all finished flowering now although one that I have planted directly in the ground hasn't flowered at all this year even though iot has last two years.

Agapanthus, is a naughty plant. Put it in a container & it will bloom 4 U next year. It blooms in terrible conditions in S. Africa, really in terrible drought conditions. Maybe U lovin it toooooooo much. LOL!!!

I wonder if it might be because there are too many plants near it Doon.;It probably needs more space so I might try moving some plants this autumn so it has more space and light around it next year!
