As winter draws to a close downunder the gums have stopped shedding and are now showing off their new bark.

Louise and David - hadn't thought to taking a photo of them at night, but will definitely have a go.

Clarice and Youngdaisydee - we have a few of these beauties on our property and in the surrounding bush and I never tire of looking at them.

I may have seen similar trees all around
California. We only grow about 90% of all the Eucalytus species which
grow in Austalia. LOL!!! (It's very true though)

I wish mine would hurry up and stop shedding - I'm forever picking it out of trees/bushes/pond.

Yes it can be a pain in the neck Wagger - it takes quite a while for them to finish their shedding and it leaves such a mess. Thankfully most I only have two actually on my property... the rest are in the surrounding bush so that mess doesn't annoy me.
