Thanks everyone. This little beauty is very photogenic - and this particular one seemed to be quite happy to pose. It sat on the branch for quite some time while I took some shots. Usually these little things are very shy and take off quickly.

Yes they do have a lovely song - this one was singing a little bit during the photographic session.

We actually got a light shower of rain yesterday, Rhodea, so your singing worked ... well sort of. It was a 2 minute shower that barely touched the ground but the smell of the rain was heavenly ... haven't smelt that for months!

Good because I don't know how long I can keep this whistling up.Lol
