Thanks everyone ... He was heading across the lawn Eileen , they can move quite fast .. :o)
Do they eat Fuschias then BB ? .. actually it was heading towards one on the edge of the flower border !

Yes Amy fuschia specialists ..may even be why the moths coloured the way they are so as to camouflage themselves .

I was lucky to see one of these many moons ago, they're huge aren't they? I think if I was a predator those great big 'eyes' would scare me off too! Great photo Amy:-)

Thanks Bornagain , If I had been on my own I don't think that I could have picked it up like my hubby did , I hadn't seen one before it would have scared me ..... !!

My sister just found one of these monsters in our garden this morning and nearly died. I could not wait to get on the net to find out what this guy was. He is huge and whats more my GSD puppy nearly ate him. Do they bite? LOL!!
