All Alone

Found this on my front garden path at about 3-20 this afternoon, like to bet as the kiddies where coming home from school pulled it out of someones garden, and then just decided to throw it away, it as got some roots with it so i'm going to leave it overnight in water, then cut the stems down and pot it up. perhaps plant it next spring or do you think it will be ok to go straight in garden in morning.
