Glad the VB are doing well, PP, I have lots self-seeded ones along my front path - all visitors have to dodge them as they walk down :)

Do these ever grow from the same plant for a 2nd year Gee or do you have to keep growing from seed every year. I bought a few last year for the 1st time & cut back at the end of the year thinking they were herbaceous but read over the winter that they are not really frost hardy.

Mine come back year after year, CG and even after the repeated snow and frosts of this last winter they seem to have survived. They seem to self seed very easily too and have even transported themselves to my neighbours garden :)

Thanks Gee - have sown some seeds this week just incase they haven't survived the winter. We're not likely to get many self seeding as all our herbaceous is weed control sheeted and has a thick layer of bark on top as well to keep down the weeds. Hopefully will have survived :o)

I usually get a lot of baby VB plants growing along my tatty path in every little crack!
If the same happens this year you would be very welcome to have some; I sent out several batches last year :)
