These are gorgeous, will you plant it in a rockery ?
I have one in mine but it's not flowering, it's been there almost 3 years too :((

No Louise I haven't planted it out yet, at the moment it's sitting on the telephone table in the hall. I just wont to admire it for a while. It has loads of new shoots coming up. Did just notice Louise on the lable it say it likes well drained soil and not too dry.

They prefer to be planted on their side too Stripes..the wet would rot the crown otherwise....I put plenty of alpine grit round them just in case!

I've done everything correctly but nil fleur !

have you tried a bit of feed Louise?...Perhaps Fractal may have a solution?

Hi Stripes lovely plant you have there. Surprised to see it is Lewisia. They usually expire on me. Die at the collar ,so to speak. We live on the East side of London, to answer your question. Nearest castle outwards is Hedingham or Colchester. Both interesting, but not as spectacular as Arundel.
