Carex brunnea 'Jenneke'

Carex brunnea 'Jenneke' (Carex brunnea)

It's MUCH smaller than the Carex I bought at Malvern! The GC had a special offer on - and I got three for the price of two. They are in a group with Heucheras and bright Asters at the front of the wide border, where I dug out a lot of Lysimachia ciliata.

Beautiful, and you mention two of my favourite plant species, grasses and heucheras. :-)

They are so good, going on through the winter, as well!

I loved this one on sight - and Carex morrowii 'Ice Dance', which thrives in shade, Dd. I've split that successfully, too. :-))

I do when I read - I got to age 60 before I needed them tho' as one eye is long sighted, the other short-sighted, so they balance! I hate my glasses. :-((((

I might wear the hat again another day...it's really only for best! ;-)

Isnt it odd how we hate wearing glasses, I have some really jazzy ones for the computer, now buy several pairs, they are very reasonable, so can afford to, these are red black white orange and grey stripes, I love them with a case to match lol

The mind boggles....how do you see through the stripes, Dd?? Hahaha -
I hope you have a matching hat too!
